Welcome to Sheffield Mission Student Events (SMiSE).

A big shout out to all new students joining the Sheffield Universities for the new academic year 2005/2006. We especially welcome any students to the Sheffield Hallam University (SHU) this year.

SMiSE was launched in the Summer of last year. SMiSE was launched to provide tailor made events for students, especially but not exclusively, who are attending SHU.

The Victoria Hall Methodist Church, which is the headquarters building for the Sheffield Mission, is smack bang on the SHU campus. It is part of the Churches together in Sheffield City Centre fraternity.

We welcome students and young people form all backgrounds whether already a Christian or not.

SMiSE’s vision is to offer a small-group fellowship attached to a growing church; and to equip our people with the necessary training and skills to tackle their lives and stage great events.
